Duration of Postgraduate or Clinical Residency programs are:


Surgical: 3 years

Non-Surgical: 2 years

 

The duration of a program may be longer or lesser if it is required by candidate’s country.

It this case we recommend our candidates to join a Russian Language Foundation program. It enhances the skills of speaking Russian language and helps to interact with Russian patients.

     The Postgraduate training allows the students of medical institutions to continue their education and general practitioners improve their skills with modern and up to dated technologies of today’s world.

      Russian State Medical Universities and Academies, together with their modern teaching hospitals and related health organizations, provide the necessary physical and human resources to create a scholarly environment appropriate for the training of medical graduates so that they acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become accomplished physicians and surgeons with the highest moral and ethical standards.

All foreign candidates must provide all qualification documents and medical degree with transcripts to undergo a certain procedure to obtain the “certificate of equivalency «to the medical degree program conducted in Russia, at the ministry of education of Russia. These documents must be apostilled or legalized by the ministry of foreign affairs at candidate’s country. In some certain cases if the candidate fails to obtain the certificate of equivalency, he or she must undergo a bridging program along with postgraduate program. The bridging program runs simultaneously with the postgraduate study and no extra cost is incurred. The duration of postgraduate program remains 2 to 3 years including the 3-month Russian language and the bridging program, depending on the specialization.

The Postgraduate Degree awarded by the medical universities of Russia, is recognized and accepted as equivalent in most countries of Europe by virtue of Russia being a signatory to the Bologna convention. The degrees are also valued in the USA, UK, India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Africa, Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius and Seychelles where our students are employed.
